The Arctic-Yukon-Kuskokwim Sustainable Salmon Initiative (AYK SSI) Steering Committee (SC) invites the submission of full project proposals.
Full proposals will be subjected to an external, independent, peer review and review by the STC. The AYK SSI Steering Committee will make final funding decisions concerning full proposals at its January 2009 meeting.

We strongly urge all investigators to submit online via the web. (If this is not possible, or you do not have a reliable internet connection for uploading files, please see details of email/mail submission procedures below.)
Online submission is the preferred method of submission and will be available at http://www.aykssi.org/extranet/FY09_Proposal/login.cfm between September 15th and November 20th, 2008 (5:00 PM).
In order to submit a proposal to the AYK SSI you will be asked to fill in a variety of forms with information from the list above as well as to upload files (proposal forms, budget, CVs for staff). Your project proposal must be prepared and submitted using the format described in the 2009 RFP. Your information will be saved as you move through this process and you will have the ability to update any information you have provided at any time prior to your final submission.
Once all required fields have been filled in, a final submission and confirmation page will appear. Once you click the Submit Proposal button you will receive an e-mail confirmation.
If you do not receive an e-mail confirming your submission from the online proposal system within two hours, you must use one of these two alternative methods of submission described below.

The complete proposal package must be US Postal Service postmarked by Thursday, November 20, 2008. Retain a copy of the USPS confirmation of postmark date for your records. Please include a CD with your package and/or email electronic versions of all your documents to karen.gillis@bsfaak.org
