Reporting & Invoicing Requirements

AYK SSI Project Management Manual

Semiannual Performance Reports

Semiannual Progress Reports are due beginning with the first July 31 or January 31 after the project start date, for the first or last six months of the calendar year (January-June and July-December), respectively, and then every 6-months thereafter until the project end date. If the initial report comes due before substantial progress has been made, simply note that in your initial report.

Final Products

Final Products are due within 60 days of project completion. Principal Investigators have the option of submitting a manuscript/agency report as their Final Product, or following the AYK SSI Final Product format. AYK SSI encourages investigators to publish the results of their work in peer-reviewed journals. This option allows investigators to use a journal manuscript format or an established agency format (ADF&G, NMFS, USFWS, USGS, NPS, etc.) to satisfy a large portion of the Final Product writing requirements. Both options are required to include an AYK SSI Final Product Title Page.

Invoicing Requirements

All AYK SSI projects are managed on a reimbursable basis. The Contract Recipient shall submit invoices to the AYK SSI no more than monthly and no less than quarterly. Regular invoicing is required. Allowing long periods between invoices may result in delayed payment processing. AYK SSI may require submittal of back-up documentation for expenses listed on an invoice. If a request for back-up documentation is requested the Principal Investigator will have 30 days to fulfill the request.

Our Mission is to collaboratively develop and implement a comprehensive research plan to understand the causes of the declines and recoveries of AYK salmon.
