The AYK SSI is pleased to release its AYK SSI 2025 Request for Proposals. Under the 2025 Invitation up to $2M is available for funding of research projects up to three years in duration addressing the region’s declined chum and Chinook salmon populations. Funding for this Invitation is provided to the AYK SSI Program through NOAA’s Pacific Coastal Salmon Recovery Fund.

- 2025 Research Priorities & Submission Instructions (download here) lists the priority “Research Themes” focusing on Chinook and chum salmon as the species of special concern.
- Proposal Format (download here) provides instructions, formatting requirements and the required proposal template necessary for a successful submission, including use of our on-line proposal submission system.
- AYK SSI Budget Forms, (download here) contains instructions and required budget forms which must be uploaded to our on-line proposal submission system along with your completed proposal narrative.
